Santa Joana
Born in Lisbon, Nuno Mendes built a remarkable international career - working with chefs like Wolfgang Puck and Jean-Georges Vongerichten. He launched acclaimed restaurants such as Viajante and Mãos (both MICHELIN-starred) - and led London’s Chiltern Firehouse for eight years. In 2022, he opened Lisboeta, followed by Cozinha das Flores in Porto. In autumn 2024, he debuted Santa Joana in Lisbon - a restaurant that celebrates Portuguese culinary traditions with creativity and locally sourced ingredients.
