After several years working in Barcelona, Nikita returned to Portugal in 2018 to take over the family restaurant Casa Celmar, a local institution in Meco with more than four decades of history. She reimagined it as a pop-up concept and catering business, showcasing the best seafood from the Portuguese coast and wild game dishes such as wild boar cabidela. Her food is rooted in tradition, with subtle contemporary touches - honest, comforting, and sustainable. Nikita also teaches at the Setúbal School of Hospitality and Tourism, where she engages in projects that promote sustainability in gastronomy.
